This entry-level position is perfect for someone with some experience handling dogs who is eager to learn and grow in the pet care industry. 

• Supervise dogs in play areas, ensuring a safe and fun environment.
• Engage dogs in playtime, socialization, and basic enrichment activities.
• Monitor dog behavior for signs of stress, illness, or aggression. 
• Clean and maintain daycare areas to meet cleanliness standards.
• Greet and update pet owners about their dog’s day.

• Some hands-on experience working with dogs (personal or professional).
• Ability to provide attentive, compassionate care.
• Physically capable of lifting and handling dogs of various sizes.
• Punctual, dependable, and a team player.

* This is an entry-level, part-time position with flexible weekday hours. Shifts vary between 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, and can be up to 35 hours per week or fewer, depending on scheduling needs. You'll receive on-the-job training and have room to grow in the pet care field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in the animal care field.
• Strong working knowledge of dog breeds, dog behavior, and safe dog handling practices.
• Prior experience in a kennel, daycare, or animal care facility/dog walking business.
• Ability to lift and handle dogs of all sizes.
• Competence in animal restraint and managing group play.
• Familiarity with pet care software a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise dogs in group play to ensure a safe, controlled environment.
• Monitor and assess dog behavior for signs of stress, illness, or aggression.
• Engage dogs in structured activities and playtime.
• Feed dogs and administer medications when necessary.
• Answer and respond to phone calls, text messages, and emails from clients as needed.
• Sign pets in/out and update client records using our dog care software.
• Clean and maintain play areas, kennels, and common spaces.
• Communicate clearly and positively with pet owners regarding their dog’s day.

*This part-time position with flexible weekday hours is perfect for parents or individuals who have evening/weekend responsibilities.

Are you passionate about animals and comfortable behind the wheel? We’re looking for a responsible and caring individual to join our team as a Dog Daycare Transport Specialist. In this role, you'll safely transport dogs between their homes and our facility and back home again. 

About the Role

This is a part-time, weekday position with a split shift schedule:

• Morning Pickups: 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM
• Afternoon Drop-offs: 2:30 PM – 4:30 PM

• Safely transport dogs to and from their homes and our daycare facility.
• Ensure dogs are secure, comfortable, and calm during transit.
• Interact professionally and kindly with pet owners.
• Assist in the daycare with loading and unloading of dogs. 

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Comfortable handling dogs of all breeds and sizes.
• Physically able to lift and transport pets as needed.
• Friendly, responsible, and attentive to animal needs.
• Previous experience in animal care or dog handling is a plus.
